There are some basic things you can check to see if your notifications work properly or if there is a problem:
No notifications at all // Random trades that were not accepted:
Please check if you really signed in with your personal account that you also check for the notifications.
You might want to re-login to that specific account and repeat the sign-in process by clicking the "sign out" button and then on "sign-in" again.
Now repeat the verification process and make sure you see your username.
I have seen customers not receiving trade-notifications because they signed in with the wrong username.
For the frequency of the notifications itself:
Alexander does only send you trade-alerts if you have enabled "live trading" which means the Software does not start trades automatically but does start to search for trades.
Also, as long as the currency pair has a trade open for sell, it will not send another sell-notification until all the sell positions are closed.
The same goes for buy notifications as well as the trend/counter variation - if allowed within the settings.
Depending on the Moving Average and on the Timeframe the software would either place a buy or a sell -> what means you will not always have a buy or sell at the same time but the software decides when to take what direction.
With all of those things in combination, you might end up with a few days up to weeks with no new trade notifications when the current trades don't get closed out (and the software does not decide to take the other direction if that's not already opened as well).
You can "force" the other direction by setting the timeframe to M1 and Moving average Period to 1 -> you should receive the other direction within a few minutes.
However, this should not be the default setting if you don't want to get both directions at the same time all the time.
Also, check for the "Common" tab in the settings since there you can uncheck "allow live trading" what completely turns off the Alexander for that pair as well as allow long/short positions only and you will only receive that specific direction if auto trading is allowed. This is often overseen by some customers who decided to change that at someplace. It is default long and short.
long = buy
short = sell
I hope that clears things up and you understand better why it might take some time to receive a notification.
