Occasionally we hear that people are not receiving the alerts/notifications on the mobile device they are using, a phone or tablet. There are several reasons why this could be the case, and here are the solutions for them.
- Your Push Notifications aren’t enabled - You need to make sure this is enabled in order to receive your alerts. Depending on the device that you are using, Android or iOS, the way to turn on notifications is different. You can search for this on Google.
- MetaQuotes ID is wrong - You need to make sure the MetaQuotes ID is the correct one, you can test this by pressing “test” as shown in the image below. If the MetaQuotes ID is the correct one you will receive the alert.
To find the correct MetQuotes ID, go to the MT4 app on your phone, go to Chat and Messages and you can find your Metaquotes ID at the bottom of the screen.
You need to input that code in the Metaquotes ID field on the VPS as shown in the screenshot below.
- The Message queue is filled - The MT4/VPS must be rebooted.
