Take your time to read through this article and complete the tasks to get the most power out of Kraitos Elite.
A Little About Kraitos Elite
Since its debut in November 2022, Kraitos has evolved through continuous research, backtesting, and user feedback. The release of Kraitos Elite in August 2024 marked a major milestone, providing users with more access to custom Expert Advisor settings. In March 2025, we introduced a new generation of optimized pair strategies backed by extensive data.
With this optimization phase, not only have we seen increased profits, but more importantly, a reduction in drawdown, as shown by a significantly improved Sharpe Ratio across most pairs.
Why Optimization Matters
Our latest backtests, conducted over 6 years (2019–2024), covered global market turmoil, including:
- The COVID-19 pandemic
- Inflationary cycles
- Wars and geopolitical tensions
- Trade tariffs and central bank rate shifts
Despite this volatility, optimized settings consistently outperformed default ones in terms of profitability, drawdown, and risk-adjusted performance. These results are not hypothetical—they're validated using real tick data from Dukascopy in MetaTrader 5 and published on Myfxbook for full transparency.

⚠️ Read Before You Start
Caution: Improper setup can lead to overleveraging, margin calls, or unnecessary drawdowns. This guide exists to help you trade responsibly while taking full advantage of Kraitos Elite's capabilities. Please follow each step carefully and avoid “set and forget” assumptions.
Risk Management & Modeling Tool
To help users avoid overleveraging and overexposure across multiple pairs, we’ve developed a custom Risk Modeling Tool with a tutorial video explaining how to use it.
This tool helps you:
- Determine safe position sizes based on account balance
- Adjust for pair correlation
- Set realistic expectations for risk-to-reward
- Simulate portfolio drawdowns before going live

Current Optimized Pairs (2019–2024 Backtested)
Each of these pairs has been tested under identical conditions, using strategic entry logic and proper exit parameters. Each backtest was performed using a $10,000 balance and 0.01 lots per $3,000 with fixed spread and real tick data from Dukascopy.
Setting Up Multiple Pairs
Kraitos Elite allows you to run multiple instances of itself simultaneously—one per pair. For each chart you open:
-
On the MetaTrader 5 terminal, you will need to chart each pair you plan on trading. Next, drag Kraitos Elite to each chart and load the optimized values into the settings for each pair.
You can use this list of forex pairs to view the optimized settings for each.
- Adjust Position Sizes using the Risk Modeling Tool, basing your adjustments on your account balance and the total number of pairs you will trade. Remember, you do not need to trade all the pairs. Some strategies show good results with just two pairs, like The Royal Blade, which is GBPUSD and USDCHF.
- Important- Use a unique Magic Number for each chart to prevent signal interference. The managing trades are always the initial trade plus one. So if you use 1000 for the initial trade of AUDCAD, the managing trades will have a magic number of 1001. We suggest at least a gap of 10 between magic numbers.
-
Monitor performance weekly for the first few months and rebalance if needed. Reach out to support with any questions.
Should You Run All Optimized Pairs?
Not necessarily.
While we’ve optimized many pairs, that doesn't mean you should trade them all at once or ever. Your setup should depend on:
-
Account Balance Size
The larger the balance, the more options you have. The minimum balance to use with Kraitos Elite is $5000, but we generally suggest at least $7000 or more.
-
Risk Tolerance
How large of a drawdown are you willing to see on your account? You should use the Risk Modeling Tool to help you better understand potential drawdowns with your trading strategy.
-
Correlation Awareness
Pairs that correlate can cause higher drawdowns, so some pairs should be avoided running together. You will see this on the Risk Modeling Tool.
Note: Running too many correlated pairs (e.g., EURUSD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD) can compound drawdowns during USD volatility. The company has used backtest data and AI to formulate some strategies and has posted them on the Help Desk.
Here are some of the strategies:

The Royal Blade (GBPUSD + USDCHF)
Correlation & Inverse Pairing Strategy
Understanding how currency pairs move together—or in opposition—is key to reducing drawdown and increasing reward.
Examples:
GBPUSD + USDCHF
→ These pairs are inversely correlated. When GBPUSD trends up, USDCHF often trends down.
→ Our backtests show combining these pairs adds 10% annual profit with only 1% more drawdown.

-
A Potentially Dangerous Strategy
AUDUSD + NZDUSD + EURUSD
→ All have USD as the quote currency, and can trend together, increasing risk if overused.
💡 Tip: Pairing a long GBPUSD trade with a short USDCHF trade can act as a volatility hedge, improving the Sharpe Ratio and portfolio stability.
