The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires that Auvoria Prime, Inc. have 1099s sent out to affiliates, who earned $600 or more in the calendar tax year, by January 31st. Auvoria Prime will always meet this deadline but there are some responsibilities that rest on the affiliate to make sure Auvoria Prime can have the information submitted by this date, in their specific case.
Auvoria Prime, Inc. is not responsible for a 1099 not being issued after January 31st if the affiliate fails to have the information in their affiliate account correct.
Auvoria Prime has issued a policy that if corrections need to be made to a 1099, after being filed with the IRS, there will be a $30 fee to be paid by the affiliate. There is time and hard costs associated with correcting a 1099 submission. An affiliate is expected to have the correct tax information on their account by December 31st and we send out a number of reminders before the end of the year.
Please make sure that the following information is 100% accurate in the Auvoria Prime account as an individual or a company.
Legal Name
Legal Company Name (optional)
Address (Street, City, State, Zipcode)
Phone
SSN or EIN
TIN (tax identification number)
Auvoria Prime pulls the tax information at the end of the tax year, and files the 1099s with the IRS during the first half of January.
NOTE: Per recommendation of the IRS, if a 1099 is not submitted with accurate information, the IRS suggests that Auvoria Prime starts to hold 20-50% of ongoing commissions in the event the tax liability falls on Auvoria Prime. This is standard practice amongst companies in dealing with entities that refuse to provide the correct tax information. Auvoria Prime reserves the right to apply a hold if the entity poses a resistance to comply with standard tax practices.
