We’ve released an optimized settings update (APGU01V20) for Kraitos Elite – GBPUSD. This is a defense-first refinement focused on reducing drawdown while improving risk-adjusted returns.
What changed (V13 → V20)
- Risk control: V20 targeted the adverse-excursion pockets that caused the larger equity dips you may remember in V13.
- Trade selection: Tighter filters on time-of-day and trend-confirmation improve the average trade quality.
- Consistency: The update smooths the equity line while keeping the strategy’s core edge intact.
Headline results (from our 2019–2024 backtests)
- Drawdown: Materially reduced vs. V13 across both “per-$3k” and “per-$5k” risk profiles.
- Sharpe Ratio: Now > 1 on the updated profile — a strong result for an Expert Advisor running continuously.
- Profit Factor / Recovery: Improved stability with fewer deep pullbacks and faster recoveries after losing sequences.
